I'm a French luthier living in Aarhus, Denmark.
In making my instruments I am primarily inspired by the great Italian masters, my latest models were after Antonio Stradivarius, Nicolo Amati, the brothers Amati and Guarneri del Gesù.
I make all of my instruments myself from start to finish, working by hand in the traditional way.
My oil varnish is continuously evolving as a result of my constant efforts to improve it.
I'm very lucky to have the opportunity to work for Jens Stenz, who gives me as much time as possible to focus on making, and who has a big stock of dry wood to which he gives me full access.
I usually work with spruce from the Italian Alps and maple from Bosnia, but I also like to experiment with wood of other origins. We travel regularly to buy new wood, letting it dry for several years before using it.
